Die casting is used for manufacturing castings of non-ferrous metal complex configuration with thin walls weighing up to 45 kg. The advantages include the ability to produce complex thin-walled castings with low surface roughness (therefore, reducing the machining of castings by 90-95%), high precision geometric dimensions, fine-grained structure. The produced parts are mostly applied in mechanical engineering.
